Mr and Mrs Snookmeyer had the 'shoe blues' as they were down to their last scrap of leather. 

 

Mr Snookmyer had been up inventing his magic shoemaking machine, but what saved the day were two puppet-elves, Flip and Flop, who made a fantastic entry on a zip-wire. 

 

They worked their magic to make a beautiful pair of shoes, and left the stage in their flying elfmobile.
