HELLO

I'm trained in Set and Costume Design at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and have been working in the industry for over decade. Alongside my freelance career I'm also the Co-Artistic Director and Resident Designer of the Olivier Award-nominated theatre company Pins and Needles Productions.

Over the years I have been blessed with the opportunities to design work that has played across the globe, from London's West End to New York City. With projects spanning theatre, dance, immersive events, festivals and digital experiences. I love designing heightened realities and creating otherworldly dreams through a multidisciplinary approach to design, specialising in visual storytelling, puppetry and costumes.

My idea of visual heaven lies somewhere between a Wes Anderson inspired world, the off-kiltered sentiment of a David Lynch movie and the heart and detail of a Pixar film.

Some of my career highlights include winning a UK Theatre award for LITTLE MERMAID (the egg, Bath Theatre Royal). Watching my adaptation of MR POPPER’S PENGUINS (Produced by Kenny Wax) transfer to the New Victory Theatre (New York) and the Criterion (London, West End). Building up a long-standing relationship with illustrator Raymond Briggs’ through FATHER CHRISTMAS (Lyric Hammersmith) and THE BEAR (UK and Malaysia) and receiving an Olivier Nomination for her adaptation of OI FROG AND FRIENDS (West End and UK tour).

I'm proud to be a founding member of Bristol Design Assembly and an Associate Artist of the egg, Theatre Royal Bath.
