Zoe trained in Set and Costume Design at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
She is also Co-Artistic Director of Pins and Needles Productions and has designed all thier shows to date including Mr Poppers Penguins (Kenny Wax Productions); The Bear (Polka Theatre and National tour); Father Christmas (Lyric Hammersmith and West Yorkshire Playhouse); Scoop (Lyric Hammersmith, Latitude and touring); Flies (Tobacco Factory); Glengarry Glen Ross (Ustinov theatre); Holly and Ivan’s Christmas Adventure (Lyric Hammersmith); The Elves and the Shoemakers (Tobacco Factory); and Ernest and the Pale Moon (Co-production with Les Enfant Terribles Theatre Company).
In 2014 she won the the Young Theatre Makers Award with director Hal Chambers for thier production of Helvers Night (Company of Angels and York Theatre Royal co-production)
Zoe is an Associate Artist of the egg, Theatre Royal Bath.
Freelance designing credits include Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet (Reading Between the Lines Theatre Company); Treasure Island (Harrogate Theatre); Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs (Les Petite Theatre Company); Riot by Ursula Rani Sarma, The Witches and James and the Giant Peach, Treasure Island and Beasts and Beauties (the egg, Theatre Royal Bath); Suntrap (Gala Theatre, Durham); Romeo and Juliet: Get out your Bards and The Lost world: The impossible play (Bristol Old Vic); The Queen's Knickers (Southbank Centre and Theatre Royal Bath).
Zoe has also designed several music videos, mainstream commercials and live events including Alexander Wolfe’s Stuck under September.
Her work has toured all around the world and across the UK to an array of regional venues including The Lowry, Sheffield Crucible Theatre, Bristol Old Vic Theatre, Southbank Centre and Wales Millennium Centre.
